Five Oaks is a new & un-spoilt outdoor events venue situated in Slinfold near Horsham, West Sussex. Quite possibly the most perfect location to host & deliver  DIY weddings/parties and cookery classes/community events.

Five Oaks is set in a rural yet accessible location close to Horsham & the M23/M25. London Victoria to Horsham Station takes around an hour and we’re only 27 miles from Brighton.

Five Oaks was born from the culmination of our extensive experience in the wedding & events industry. Our Award Wining team has been part of the most spectacular weddings and events in recent years. Five Oaks is the result of knowing and understanding best practices, current trends & the vision that we share with our clients.

We’ve created a venue which is totally unique and that is entirely customizable to each client’s desires without the usual constraints of the traditional wedding venue or event space.

Our five acre setting in the beautiful West Sussex countryside, embodies the heart of the creative spirit. Free spirited amongst the woodland but precise and proud of our services. Not only do we want you to feel free to explore our grounds but to feel entirely at home here with every need catered for.

Under the cover of our bespoke Giant Hat Tipi’s or Teepee’s is the perfect space to explore your creative side. Clients wishing to create or DIY style wedding or event will have the perfect foundation to build upon their dreams. Feel free to use Five Oaks as either a dry hire venue, a blank canvas to explore all those Pinterest plans. Alternatively if you’d appreciate some professional support & amazing suppliers we can offer various services to ensure your day runs smoothly.

Tipi’s, Teepee’s or Tee Pee’s…

 

There are lots of different ways of spelling the word Tipi & lots of very smart people who argue a good case for each style. The one thing everyone can agree upon is that they make the most beautiful space to host an event. Wether it’s a wedding, corporate party, special birthday party or one of our cookery classes they look amazing.

Our Giant Hat Event Tipis are manufactured by the Global leaders & experts in Lapland, Sweden. Tentipi have been designing & manufacturing these tipi’s for 27 years. Their ability to source & engineer the strongest & most versatile tipi’s is astounding. The timber comes from trees which are slowly grown in harsh climates, this ensures they are ultra strong & flexible. Many cheaper products just aren’t up to the task which is why we’ve chosen the best.

Our tipis are built to the highest of British Standards to be water, rot & fire resistant. The canvas material is made up of four layers, designed to be strong & stretchy to ensure its hard wearing. It will keep you dry on a wet day, cool on a warm summers day & toasty if it’s a bit chilly outside.

On a hot summers day the sides are designed to be opened to let a cool breeze through the structure. On a wet & windy day the sides can be lashed down to ensure the party continues.

The grounds of Five Oaks is the perfect location for guests to attend, park and enjoy the event without worrying about the weather outside.

We’ve chosen the best money can buy because our clients deserve only the best. Not only are they stunningly beautiful due to the architecture of their design, they’re also impressively practical. We wrap the poles in fairy lights & LED Lights also add to this magical experience. Our woodland can also be “up-lit” to clients specification by our extremely experienced lighting specialists.

With our own Giant Event Tipis we can seat 120 for a wedding breakfast or main meal on the provided rustic wooden trestle tables & benches. Chairs & high chairs can also be provided on request.

For evening receptions or parties we can accommodate up to 150 guests in our structures.

Party games on the paddock, “Photo booth” Frames hung from the trees, Five Oaks lends itself to such a wide variety of entertainment options for your guests.

To cap off the night guests can chill out by our fire pit whilst relaxing on our covered hay bales. Watching the sunset or a spot of stargazing adds to those unforgettable memories for any wedding or party at Five Oaks.

We love weddings at Five Oaks. We are honored to play our part in the most special days of our client’s lives. The rustic charm & beauty of our Copse woodland is the perfect setting to say such special words in front of your loved ones.

Our Ceremony archway has been lovingly hand made from branches from the grounds. Clients are welcome to decorate to their own tastes or perhaps have your florists make any alterations to fit with your theme. Alternatively such items can be hired from our network of suppliers to suit your tastes.

Covered Hay bales provide the perfect seating arrangements for guests to witness the unity of our couples. If you prefer a different style of seating then we’d be only to happy to put you in touch with some amazing suppliers we’ve worked with countless times.

Before we launched Five Oaks our background was in the catering industry for Weddings & events. Our in house team of chefs have been behind the scenes or in fact front & center to some of the most spectacular events. These experiences have given us the bedrock of knowledge to establish Five Oaks and combine the strongest network of suppliers in our industry.

Our in house catering team comprises of 22 chefs with wide ranging skills & a diverse knowledge of dishes. We are the current leaders of the Steakstone & Wood Fired Oven catering in the South of England. The team were nominated for Wedding Caterer of the year in The Wedding Industry Awards.

Our dishes & menus are always bespoke. We take our inspiration from our client’s tastes and create menus to suit their dietary & budget constraints.

The most popular style of service for wedding breakfasts currently is our rustic “sharing style” or “family style” meal. Our brilliant team of waiting staff are on hand serve guests in a relaxed manner ensuring they feel at home throughout the day.

As our client you would choose which dishes you wish to see on the day. If there is a dish which isn’t on our menu please let our events manager know.

We love customization & personal menus as we value your input. Please see below for some popular examples of our catering menus.

The dishes which make up our menu are served in Falconware Enamel dishes, wooden boards & rustic platters. The food is designed to wow guests wether it be sizzling steaks on a volcanic rock or wood fired pizzas straight from the oven, served to table.

As real foodies & chefs we hate the one size fits all approach however in the interest of giving some rough figures to work with we’ve built some popular menus and given a rough Price Per Head to help with budgeting. We can not stress enough the menus are open to customisation on your part. If you’d prefer to use your wedding cake as dessert or have some fantastic ideas to personalise you’re day we can reduce the pricing below.
